CARINA officials, along with UNESCO brought the joy of astronomy to the Grenadine nationals between 22nd-24th May 2009.
Events included lectures, radio interviews and the ever popular viewing
sessions. For most, this was their first time viewing through a
telescope and it proved to be an exhilarating experience! For CARINA
members especially, knowing these sessions were providing a learning
opportunity for young students across the island was reward enough.
